That’s a Wrap Folks!

I’m home now. The last week, in many ways, seems like a dream. Today I think I’m more mentally and physically exhausted than I have been all week. The drive home took 10+ hours, but I won’t go into all of that. I do want to just sum things up with some numbers that you may/may not find interesting.

We were told that, collectively, we pedaled something like 150,000 miles this week, or 3x the circumference of the planet.
We raised over $1.6 million dollars.

My statistics:

Distance Traveled: ~563 miles
Feet climbed: 15,575
Pedal Strokes: 152,789
Calories Burned: 19,570

Equipment Casualties:
2 Pairs of bib shorts worn through
One cleat broken
One inner tube punctured
One tire in need of replacement
One damaged shifter/brake
One DOA front derailleur
Potentially GPS (some navigation errors and cracked screen)
Other residual bike damage TBD once it goes into the shop

And that’s a wrap folks…thank you again for letting me have the honor of taking you with me on this journey….until next time!

Everyone riding in formation. I’m somewhere around the 2:30 mark. Look for the white helmet, red socks, and blue water bottle!
I made it!!!!
